radon

i like my cat. :) i am so excited to pick him up and bring him to gainesville!

i decided to name him radon for a few reasons:

1. i was going to name him "alaska" but it didn't seem right since he's male
2. luna was ruled out for the same reason
3. he's radioactive
4. radon is the only radioactive noble gas
5. the element radon was once called "niton" which is from the latin "nitens" which means "light," and i wanted a name relating to light
   
6. radioactive + light= spark= perfect name!
   

i'm sure i'll take a lot of pictures once he's here. and they will be posted.
