insanity

wow, the past two days have been completely ridiculous. moving is the most terrible thing in the world. highlights of the experience below:

1. not getting a uhaul after having reserved 2 weeks in advance because of a 24-48 hour wait
2. moving allll my shit in mine and my dad's cars, then having to scramble to find a truck to move my bed, futon, bookshelf, and dresser
3. driving to alachua 6 times in one day
4. our landlord showing up yesterday and telling us we were supposed to be out by midnight the night before (liar!)
5. his wife telling me i need to take care of the garbage that isn't mine
6. painting the bathroom door a "whitish" color that doesn't match the walls :)
7. roach getting locked out of her apartment by the people moving in on the day we are supposed to be moving out
   
8. leaving a little surprise in the hallway closet for our landlord and/or new tenants (dead cockroach) :)

so yes moving is terrible. now i'm homeless. i'm staying at francisca & joel's until i go home, then i'm coming back the 8th to move into my new place. yay!
